Hanji

Escaping all classifications, paper takes on volume to invent a world of relief in the spirit of craftsmanship. Through bold patterns and textures, the raw and reassuring simplicity of the material is revealed. Both palpable and natural. From the velvety tones of tone-on-tone to the contrasts of gold or pearlescent tints against matt papers, everything is a play of light.

These creations, made entirely from paper pulp, are inspired by the great mosaic murals that were in vogue at the mid-century. The colours are natural ones: white, off-white, deep grey, caramel and touches of shimmer. Precious craftsmanship is a key feature of our collections.
