Each piece is unique because the pattern is created randomly: the size of the waves and their position vary indiscriminately.

THE DESIGNS
We wanted to give a new lease of life to moire, a technique dating back to antiquity, with a contemporary appearance and a natural, highly textured surface. The waves are formed randomly by the artisan, who inserts the fabric by hand between cylinders, crushing the fibres to create the final, unpredictable design. Each wall covering is unique, with its own design and nuances revealed arbitrarily by the artisan’s work, following a series of precise and highly technical actions.
